About The Snake Oil Barons

The Snake Oil Barons are based in Chicago's western suburbs. We perform at clubs, restaurants, festivals, private parties, and corporate events throughout the Chicagoland area.

The Snake Oil Barons' diverse song list includes Classic Rock (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, BoDeans, Steely Dan, Tom Petty), Blues Rock (Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn), Memphis Soul (Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Fabulous Thunderbirds), Blues (T-Bone Walker, Son Seals, B.B. King), Modern Rock (The Black Keys, The Wallflowers, Michael Franti), a dash of Americana (BoDeans, Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton), and a good dose of New Orleans styles (Dr John, The Meters, Professor Longhair, Little Feat) - perfect for turning the evening into a Mardi Gras party!

The Snake Oil Barons band features four of the area’s finest musicians. Band members have played clubs and festivals all over Chicagoland including The Park West, Fitzgerald's, Morton Arboretum, Kingston Mines, Buddy Guy's Legends, Navy Pier, Pheasant Run, and many more. Our broad spectrum of music can be tailored to your event, ranging from a mellow dinner atmosphere to a rockin’ dance party!
